Connecting Czech Heritage & California Community
A nurturing, playful educational environment where Czech language, cultural traditions, and lifelong community connections thrive across generations.
The Czech School of California helped our son Erik so much when returning to the Czech Republic. Erik was born in the USA and didn't have a home school in CZ. Yet he smoothly transitioned into a normal Czech elementary school 4th grade thanks to their certificate proving his 3 years at the Czech School of California. Plus, his level of Czech language and subject knowledge was comparable to peers in CZ! We are deeply grateful for making our relocation so easy!
Our Core Values
Balancing heritage and playfulness to cultivate a sustainable community in the Golden State.

Your student will have access to our school library with over 500 titles from Krtecek picture books through to the latest books and famous Czech authors for adults.
Vibrant Community
We organize events and celebrations around all the main Czech festivals. Our school frequently hosts visiting theater groups, performers and guest speakers, and coordinates social events with partner organizations.
